Students are called to design “hybrid” residential buildings, with the potential to create a programme that can trigger new architectural and urban situations and enhance the social cohesion and the local urban intensity.
Investigate and critically analyse physical, social, cultural and environmental conditions and apply these to generate an architectural design programme which addresses key sustainable outcomes.
Propose a building design based on the interpretation of a brief. Develop, implement and articulate a synthesised set of architectural proposals for a range of functions.
Represent and communicate the architectural design proposals from initial concepts to final proposal and critically evaluate their merits.
